Haus der Offiziere (HdO)

Magdeburger Straße 15, 14770 Brandenburg an der Havel, Germany

Haus der Offiziere (HdO) in Brandenburg an der Havel is a club and event venue in a listed brick villa. Jugendkulturfabrik Brandenburg e.V. runs the building as a socio-cultural centre and also rents out its rooms for external events. The distinctive combination of a historic building and modern club facilities is particularly suited to concerts, parties and cultural events.
Several areas are available for events of different sizes. The large hall can accommodate up to 450 people, while the second floor, Baikonur, can host up to 200 guests. There is also the smaller Datscha, which holds around 30 people, as well as a beer garden with capacity for up to 100 people. In total, events can be held across up to three floors and around 350 square metres of space. The venue is fully accessible.
The facilities include permanently installed concert and lighting technology, as well as a stage. For external productions, sound, lighting, video and conference technology, stages, shelters and other event equipment can also be requested. The team can provide technical staff on request. A drinks or cocktail bar with staff and various items for hire are also available. Concert productions can also make use of parking for lorries or tour buses.
Venue hire is arranged on an individual basis. When making an enquiry, it is helpful to provide details of the event concept, preferred date and expected number of guests. With its range of room sizes, existing technology and distinctive club setting, HdO is an option for event planners looking for a venue with its own unique atmosphere.
