Schrammsberg Estate

Schrammsberg Estate is a seven-acre outdoor venue in Nevada City, California, offering a picturesque setting for weddings and other private or corporate gatherings. Close to the town centre, the estate combines open lawns, winding paths and a peaceful pond, giving event planners several natural backdrops for ceremonies, receptions and photographs.

The property welcomes weddings, birthdays, corporate events, celebrations of life, photo shoots and other special occasions. Its outdoor spaces are available seasonally, generally from mid-May through mid-October, making it a destination for organisers looking to plan an event in the warmer months. The grounds have a historic character: the original home dates from 1862, and the property has remained in the Schramm family for generations.

As an all-outdoor venue, the estate offers an open-air alternative to a conventional function room. Facilities include an outdoor kitchen suited to a range of catering arrangements and portable restrooms for guests. Organisers can arrange a tour with the venue team to explore the grounds and discuss their plans.

For event planners, Schrammsberg Estate may suit celebrations where scenery and outdoor space are central to the experience, from a wedding ceremony among the grounds to a gathering by the pond. Its location near historic Nevada City also gives guests access to the town while providing a secluded-feeling setting for the occasion. Event dates, arrangements and practical requirements can be discussed directly with the estate when enquiring.
