The Dogwood in the Grove

The Dogwood in the Grove is a bookable event venue in St. Louis' Grove neighbourhood, suited to weddings, private celebrations and other gatherings. Its distinctive setting combines two indoor floors with a garden and terrace, giving organisers different spaces for ceremonies, receptions, dining and dancing. Depending on the layout, the venue can host up to 150 guests for a seated dinner or up to 200 for a cocktail-style event using both floors.

The Manchester Room provides a central gathering space, while the upper-floor Swan Room can be arranged for ceremonies, drinks receptions or dinners. Outside, the garden offers a sheltered-feeling setting for ceremonies and photographs, and the terrace gives guests room to step outdoors. The Magnolia Lounge is available as a getting-ready suite for wedding parties and can also serve as a green room for other occasions.

Bookings include exclusive use of the venue's five spaces, with furnishings and event essentials such as tables, chairs, china, glassware and flatware. Food and bar service are provided exclusively by The Social Affair, the venue's in-house catering partner. Menus are developed for each event, and organisers can discuss catering and bar packages as part of their plans. The venue team oversees venue-related arrangements, while clients can bring in other suppliers from the area's recommended network.

With indoor and outdoor options, dedicated preparation space and in-house food and drink, The Dogwood offers organisers a flexible setting for bringing different parts of an event together. Wedding ceremonies and receptions are a particular focus, alongside private and corporate celebrations.
