Holzinger Lodge

Holzinger Lodge is a city-operated venue available to hire for private and community gatherings in Winona, Minnesota. Set among rolling hills near West Lake Winona, it offers an informal setting for celebrations, family get-togethers, club events and other occasions for groups of up to 75 people.

Inside, organisers have access to a kitchen equipped with a full range, refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave, as well as air conditioning and a fireplace. The game room includes a pool table, table tennis, bumper pool and foosball, providing extra entertainment for guests. The venue has around 75 chairs and 17 six-foot banquet tables, plus restrooms and electricity. Wi-Fi is not available, so planners should arrange another option if their event depends on internet access.

Outside, a large grassy area and deck offer room to enjoy the surroundings, while a playground and horseshoe pits give guests additional ways to spend time together. The lodge is next to the Holzinger biking and hiking trail system, and parking is available. The facility is ADA accessible, helping organisers plan for guests with mobility needs.

Winona Parks and Recreation manages bookings, with half-day and full-day rental options as well as an hourly rate for clubs and non-profit groups. Reservations are made online, and payment is due when booking. A damage and maintenance deposit is also required. Organisers should check the current rental terms and confirm availability directly with the city before finalising plans. The lodge is a practical choice for groups seeking a self-contained local venue with indoor facilities and access to outdoor space.
