The Yvon Desreux village hall in Verchain-Maugré is a community venue available to hire for receptions and private or community gatherings. It can accommodate up to 150 seated guests or around 200 standing guests. This makes it suitable for a range of events, from a meal with allocated seating to a more informal reception, depending on your needs.

The hall includes furniture and equipment useful for preparing and serving food. The listed facilities include tables, chairs, crockery, a dishwasher, an oven, hobs, a food warmer and fridges. The full inventory is confirmed during the inspection, so organisers can check the equipment provided.

The hall can be hired for a day, a weekend or a drinks reception. The terms and prices vary depending on whether or not the hirers live in the community. Verchain-Maugré residents can also hire tables and chairs separately. Bookings are made through the local council, which provides the contract for review and signature at the time of booking.

Located on place du 8 Mai 1945, the hall offers a local venue for bringing together family, friends or members of an association in a dedicated space. Before planning their reception, organisers can contact the town hall to enquire about availability, booking arrangements and practical details.
