The Inn on Quarry Glen

The Inn on Quarry Glen is a historic event venue in Towanda, Pennsylvania, offering a private setting for weddings, family celebrations and business gatherings. Built in 1894, the property combines period character with indoor and outdoor spaces that organisers can shape around their plans.

Inside, the inn features a banquet hall with a stone fireplace and balcony, along with a sitting room, great room, enclosed wraparound porch and commercial kitchen. The indoor seating area accommodates around 75 guests. With the porch included, the venue can provide seating and serving arrangements for up to 225 people, depending on the event and layout. Six guest bedrooms and a bridal suite offer on-site accommodation for wedding parties and visitors.

The grounds include a lawn, pavilion, picnic tables, fire pit and outdoor games area, providing options for ceremonies, receptions and relaxed social gatherings. Couples can consider the property for both wedding celebrations and related occasions, while other suitable bookings include birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, reunions, company dinners and retreats.

Organisers work directly with the owners to discuss their event vision and agree a tailored contract. The owners can offer practical guidance on room layouts, decorating, serving arrangements, catering plans, accommodation and ceremony details. Tables, chairs, selected tableware and linens are available, and setup and pack-down options can be arranged to suit the booking. Catering and other suppliers are not presented as in-house services, so planners can choose vendors that fit their event. The inn is set back from the road on a private drive, a short distance from downtown Towanda.
