Bürgerhaus Bissendorf is a municipal event venue in the historic centre of Wedemark. Event planners can request rooms from the local council for a range of occasions, including cultural events, club and community gatherings, concerts, celebrations and wedding ceremonies. The Bürgersaal can accommodate up to 120 people and can be used with seating. Depending on the booking, a projector and screen, an audio system with microphones and speakers, as well as stage elements and stage lighting are available for presentations and stage programmes.

There is also a smaller meeting room for up to 15 people, also with seating and presentation equipment. The foyer can be used with high tables. A kitchenette with crockery, cutlery and electrical appliances, as well as outdoor areas with an electricity supply and access to toilets, extend the options for event planning. This makes it possible to prepare both smaller meetings and larger gatherings with a range of room layouts.

The local council of Wedemark rents out the rooms in accordance with its regulations for use. Organisers should check availability and the conditions for their specific occasion directly with the relevant department. Bürgerhaus Bissendorf is located at the market square in Bissendorf and is part of a historic complex of buildings. The building also houses a café, an art association and a bookshop. The surroundings can therefore complement events in the hall, while the booking and equipment of the event space must be arranged separately with the local council.
