Henley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society

The HAODS Studio is a self-contained venue in Henley-on-Thames available to hire for a range of organised events and activities. Its flexible room can host theatrical performances, rehearsals, meetings, lectures, social functions and corporate events, making it a useful option for organisers seeking an adaptable indoor space.

Facilities include a kitchen with a servery, tables and seating, blackout blinds for daytime use, and wheelchair access. Theatre-style sound, lighting and staging are available, with staging and technical equipment offered for an additional charge. Organisers can discuss regular or longer-term bookings with the society.

The studio is run by Henley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society, a local performing arts group that stages productions in its own studio and at the neighbouring Kenton Theatre. Alongside room hire, the society also makes scenery, props and costumes from its collection available to hire. These additional resources may be useful for community groups and production teams looking for theatrical items.

For event planners, the main offering is a bookable, multi-purpose venue in a central Henley location. The room's mix of performance facilities and practical amenities supports different formats, from a rehearsal or workshop to a small gathering or business event. Hire enquiries can be made directly to the society, which can provide information about availability, equipment and arrangements for a particular booking.
