Church of the Good Shepherd with St. Peter, Lee

The Church of the Good Shepherd with St. Peter, Lee offers two church halls for one-off events and regular bookings in south-east London. The spaces suit organisers looking for a practical, local setting for parties, meetings, classes, clubs and other community gatherings.

At the Good Shepherd site on Handen Road, the Main Hall has room for up to 120 adults. Its flexible layout includes a high central ceiling, natural light and an adjoining side area. Hirers can use the modest kitchen, which has an oven and small fridge, along with chairs and trestle tables. Step-free access is available by a ramp at the side entrance, and the facilities include accessible toilet provision and baby-changing facilities. A separate Parish Room can be hired on its own or alongside the Main Hall. It is suited to smaller meetings and gatherings of around 20 adults, with bench seating and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

The second location, St. Peter's Church, provides a medium-sized hall with a small raised platform. It comfortably seats around 35 to 50 people and has a kitchen, chairs, tables and an accessible toilet with baby-changing facilities. Both sites can be booked for one-off occasions or recurring activities, subject to availability and church use. Organisers can contact the relevant events secretary about a single booking, or the hall bookings secretary to discuss regular use. The church welcomes local community hirers and provides a straightforward choice of room sizes for gatherings that need a convenient neighbourhood venue.
