The hall measures 16 x 9 metres and can accommodate up to 120 people, including the kitchen and storage room. A fully equipped kitchen is available for preparing or serving a meal, and a full set of crockery is provided. Water and gas are included in the hire fee, while electricity is charged separately. For events held between May and October, the marquee must be booked along with the hall. It can also be hired as an optional extra at other times of the year, subject to the conditions set out by the council.
The hall is hired for the weekend, with different rates for residents and people from outside the municipality. To make a booking, you must sign a contract, pay a deposit and provide supporting documents and a security deposit. An inspection is scheduled before and after the hire period. These arrangements help organisers plan their event with advance knowledge of the facilities available and the steps they need to take.
