The Coop on Key Road

The Coop on Key Road is a private event venue in Columbia, South Carolina, offering indoor and outdoor spaces for celebrations and business gatherings. Its main Grand Room covers more than 5,000 square feet, with a high ceiling and large windows. An adjoining balcony of over 1,500 square feet looks down into the room, giving organisers another area to use as part of their event.

Glass doors open onto a patio of more than 2,500 square feet, so guests can move between the indoor and outdoor areas. The venue welcomes wedding receptions, birthday and anniversary celebrations, class and family reunions, banquets and larger business meetings. Couples can also arrange to hire a private bridal lounge, which has its own bathroom, make-up counter, shower and seating.

A standard rental includes the Grand Room, downstairs area, kitchen, outdoor space and parking lot for a 10 am to 11 pm hire period. The kitchen is equipped for a caterer, with preparation tables, a large refrigerator, a commercial microwave and a three-compartment sink. An installed sound system supports speeches and music, while the venue's fenced, well-lit parking area has more than 300 spaces. Additional balcony and restroom access can be arranged, and weekday half-day hire is also available. Organisers can contact the venue directly for current rates and booking details.
