De Roode Poorte

De Roode Poorte is an event venue in Meetkerke, a short distance from Bruges. It is housed in a restored, listed 17th-century farmhouse. The authentic barn and rural surroundings give weddings, corporate parties and other gatherings their own distinctive character. Organisers can also hold receptions, family celebrations and seminars here.
The layout and decor of the room can be adapted to the type of event and the organiser's wishes. Guests and tables can therefore be arranged in different ways for a dinner, reception or party. The barn can accommodate up to 250 guests seated at tables. It has a fully equipped bar and a separate kitchen for the chosen caterer. The organiser can choose a professional caterer and book a DJ themselves. For music, there is an existing Bose sound system to which the DJ's equipment can be connected.
The venue has on-site parking and underfloor heating, making the barn comfortable even during cooler periods. With its combination of historic character, freedom to choose catering and music, and flexible room layout, De Roode Poorte is suitable for both personal celebrations and business events. Organisers can discuss their preferred arrangements and practical details in advance, so that everything suits their guests and programme.
