The Grand

The Grand is a historic Art Deco theatre in downtown Ellsworth, Maine, available to hire for events. Its stage and auditorium provide a setting for organisers planning performances, screenings, concerts and other suitable gatherings. The building's period character, including its distinctive marquee, gives events a recognisable local setting while retaining the feel of a traditional theatre.

Alongside its own year-round programme of live theatre, music, films and cultural presentations, The Grand welcomes rental enquiries from organisations seeking a theatre venue. Organisers can contact the venue with their organisation's name, event type and preferred dates. The team will respond to discuss availability, and a booking is confirmed through a contract and deposit. Weekend dates can be in demand, so it is worth enquiring early and considering alternative dates where possible.

The Grand may suit community groups, arts organisations and other event planners whose plans fit a theatre environment. Its established performance setting makes it a natural option for stage-based events, while its ongoing public programme reflects the venue's role as a cultural gathering place in the region. Organisers can contact the venue directly to discuss their requirements and the practical details of a hire. The theatre is located on Main Street in Ellsworth, making it a central venue for events in the area.
