Tiefstollenhalle Peißenberg is a versatile event venue in a former machine hall belonging to the local mine. The historic industrial building has been modernised, combining its original character with facilities for a range of event formats. Organisers can enquire about hiring the hall and foyer for their own events.
The multi-purpose hall can accommodate around 400 people in a theatre-style layout, and the stage is suitable for talks, presentations and stage programmes. This makes the hall an option for conferences, exhibitions, talks, anniversaries, and company and family celebrations. Weddings and birthday parties are also possible uses. The foyer can be used for smaller receptions, as well as for exhibitions and as a place to relax.
Facilities include a sound system and lighting. Depending on the event, live broadcasts to a large screen on stage and streaming are also possible. The building also has a catering kitchen, cloakrooms, ticket and meeting rooms, and toilets. Organisers can work with a range of catering companies to provide refreshments.
The hall is located on the site of the former coal mine, offering a distinctive setting for events that call for an industrial, historic atmosphere. In addition to its own cultural programme, it is also available to hire for external events. Enquiries about using the venue and room bookings are handled by Markt Peißenberg.
