Workshop CD Opnemen

Beukenrodelaan 6, 3941 ZP Doorn, Netherlands

Workshop CD Opnemen runs musical group workshops where participants learn and record a song together in a professional studio at Landgoed Beukenrode in Doorn. The activity is intended for occasions including corporate outings, hen and stag parties and family days. It gives a group outing a creative twist, even for participants who are not used to singing into a microphone.
The group can choose a song from a wide repertoire or suggest a favourite. They can use existing lyrics, or write their own. Guided by a producer, participants head into the studio and experience how a recording is made. Singing together is at the heart of the workshop, with the chance to discover personal singing talents and try something new outside the daily routine.
The programme lasts around two hours. The recording takes place in the studio on the estate, where participants can also have something to drink during a break. At the end, the recording is ready to take home, giving the group a lasting memento of the workshop. The activity combines making music, working together and having fun in an informal setting.
For event planners, this is an option for groups looking for an active and original activity for a staff outing, a special day with friends or family, or a hen or stag party. Participants do not need to be experienced singers. The producer guides them through the process and helps the group create a recording together.
