The Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum

The Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum is a historic Cincinnati venue available to hire for weddings, receptions, meetings and other private events. Set in a former Carnegie library dating from 1906, the building combines period character with practical spaces for gatherings of different sizes. Its two main rooms and entry area offer around 3,400 square feet in total, and the rooms can be hired in different combinations.

The West Room has a permanent dance floor and adjustable lighting, making it a useful choice for receptions and celebrations. The East Room provides a separate setting for dining or gathering, while the entry vestibule can be added to either room. In good weather, guests can also use the paved patio for drinks and conversation. Weekend hires include access to the listed spaces, including a bridal suite for wedding parties. The venue states that it can host events for up to 200 guests.

Couples and organisers can arrange a tour and discuss their plans with the venue's catering partner, Solenne Catering. Catering is customised to the occasion, with food and service arranged directly with the caterer. The venue also offers weekday and weekend rental options, and its booking process includes a rental contract and event insurance for weekend events.

The Carnegie Center is a nonprofit community cultural arts centre, and income from private rentals supports its programming and the upkeep of the historic building. For event planners seeking a characterful Cincinnati setting with flexible indoor rooms, a dance floor and an outdoor mingling area, it provides a distinctive venue for weddings and other celebrations.
