Schloss Trebsen

Zum Schloss 1, 04687 Trebsen, Germany

Schloss Trebsen is a historic event venue on the Mulde, about half an hour from Leipzig. The castle welcomes couples, families and event planners looking for a special setting for weddings, private celebrations or festive gatherings. Its late Gothic architecture, historic vaulted rooms, courtyard and castle park provide a distinctive backdrop for events.

Several rooms with different atmospheres are available for celebrations. These include a large ballroom with a stage and bar, the castle chapel and smaller rooms such as the Esszimmer and the Herrenzimmer. The spaces can be chosen to suit the occasion and, in some cases, connected to one another. Civil wedding ceremonies can also be held in the Trauzimmer, and the castle offers options for humanist ceremonies indoors or outdoors.

The planning process is supported personally: from viewing the venue and choosing rooms to agreeing on the schedule, a dedicated contact is available. Drinks and service are organised by the castle. For food, organisers can work with recommended catering partners to agree on a suitable menu or buffet. According to the castle, room hire without catering is not available.

Alongside private celebrations, Schloss Trebsen hosts public cultural events, markets and concerts. For event planners, the castle is therefore above all a characterful venue for weddings and celebrations where historic architecture and personal support are important. Parking is available nearby. Accessibility varies between parts of the building, so the team recommends getting in touch in advance to discuss any specific requirements.
