Horse & Hound Inn

The Horse & Hound is a historic 12-bedroom lodge available for exclusive group hire in Franconia, New Hampshire. Set on eight acres in the White Mountains, it offers organisers a private base for corporate off-sites, yoga and wellness retreats, family gatherings and other multi-day group stays. The lodge sleeps up to 25 guests and is rented as a whole property rather than by individual room.

Shared indoor spaces include a bright lobby and living area, a library, a tavern-style room with a bar area, and a dining room. Outdoors, groups can make use of the terrace, garden, greenhouse and broad lawns, with woodland and Tucker Brook adding to the rural setting. High-speed internet is available throughout the building, while the bedrooms are kept free of electronics. The property also has on-site parking.

Located near Franconia Notch and Cannon Mountain, the lodge gives guests convenient access to hiking, skiing and other outdoor activities in the surrounding area. This makes it a suitable setting for organisers planning a retreat or group programme that combines time together indoors with time outside. The inn's former restaurant closed in 2019, so organisers should not assume that catering is provided. For current availability, rental details and pricing, contact the owners directly. The entire lodge must be booked for a stay, and individual room reservations are not offered.
