The Red Barn at Mitchell College is a flexible event venue in New London, Connecticut, available to hire for weddings, family celebrations, corporate gatherings, talks, training sessions and small concerts. Set on the banks of the Thames River, the 4,000-square-foot space pairs the character of a New England barn with practical facilities for a range of event formats.

Inside, exposed beams, reclaimed timber walls and polished concrete floors create a distinctive setting that organisers can adapt to their plans. The room can be arranged in different ways, with table seating for approximately 120 to 150 guests. Garden-style chairs, round tables and high-top tables are included, along with additional tables for gifts, bars or other event needs. Half-day hire is available, and the standard rental includes time for supplier set-up, the event itself and clear-up.

Technical and operational features include adjustable theatrical lighting, a full lighting grid, air conditioning and heating. Projectors, screens and wireless microphones are available, while a private green room can support speakers, performers or wedding parties. The venue also has three restrooms, a separate catering preparation area and a nearby parking area with accessible spaces. An onsite coordinator can oversee venue operations when needed.
