Friends of Chinook School

Historic Chinook School offers two restored buildings for organisers seeking a distinctive event venue in Chinook, Washington, near the Long Beach Peninsula. The site can be hired for weddings, reunions, meetings, conferences, memorials, fundraisers, workshops, performances and other gatherings. The buildings can be booked separately or together, giving planners options for different event sizes and formats.

The Event Center is a full-size gym with a theatrical stage and green room, professional sound system, screen for presentations, Wi-Fi and a kitchen equipped with major appliances and cooking utensils. It can accommodate up to 299 people. Tables and chairs are available, and there is on-site parking. The gym can also support sports events, with a field behind the building.

The former schoolhouse, now the Community Building, has three classrooms, each accommodating up to 40 people. These rooms suit smaller meetings, company off-sites, breakout sessions, classes and workshops. Available facilities include tables and chairs, a piano, a screen for presentations, Wi-Fi and a catering kitchen. The building has an accessible lift and accessible restrooms.

Both spaces have historic character and practical facilities, with outdoor space and a sports field on the grounds. The venue is a short drive from the Long Beach Peninsula and within driving distance of Portland and Seattle. Friends of Chinook School manages the venue, and proceeds from rentals help support the preservation and operation of the historic buildings. Organisers can contact the venue to arrange a viewing, discuss availability and request pricing.
