Northern Oaks Events

Northern Oaks Events is a rural venue in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, set among mature oak trees on a 100-acre property. It welcomes couples and event planners looking for a private setting for weddings and other gatherings, with indoor and outdoor spaces and capacity for events of up to 300 guests. Indoor events have separate limits depending on the format, so planners should confirm the arrangements for their event.

The grounds include two ceremony locations, a spacious lawn, a pavilion for dining and celebrations, ponds, walking paths and fire pits. The property also has a log home with separate getting-ready areas for wedding parties. The pavilion measures 40 by 120 feet and includes a dance floor, while the surrounding grounds provide room for guests to mingle and enjoy the setting.

Venue hire includes exclusive access to the property from 9am to midnight, along with tables, chairs, ceremony benches and an arch. The venue team sets up and removes tables and chairs, and provides a prep area for caterers and storage for suppliers. Organisers can select their own licensed and insured caterer, subject to venue approval, and choose a custom table layout with their coordinator.

The site has parking for around 100 vehicles, with overflow parking available. Northern Oaks also describes its approach as focused on clear communication and support throughout the planning process. Event planners can enquire directly about dates, pricing, capacity and the arrangements best suited to their celebration.
