House on a Hill

House on a Hill is a historic event venue in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, offering a flexible setting for weddings and other private celebrations. Its restored property dates back to 1894 and combines vintage character with a light, modern interior. The main event space is designed as a blank canvas, giving organisers room to shape the look and layout around their plans.

The venue's main area covers nearly 4,000 square feet, with a separate entrance foyer and bathrooms on the same level. It can seat up to 300 guests without a dance area, or accommodate around 200 to 250 guests with space for dancing. The venue hosts one event per day, with full-day rentals running from noon until midnight, so organisers have time to prepare and clear the space within their booking.

Included facilities feature reclaimed wood tables, gold cross-back chairs, a bridal preparation suite, a long bar with ice-making and refrigeration, and a sound system with connections for a DJ. A prep kitchen is available for caterers, and organisers may bring licensed and insured vendors of their choice. Private parking is provided behind the property, with additional street parking nearby. An on-site event liaison is available during the booking to assist with venue-related needs.

Set in the countryside near the Illinois border, House on a Hill provides an individually hired location for couples and event organisers who want to personalise their celebration. The venue's historic surroundings, included furnishings and flexible approach make it suitable for weddings, receptions and other gatherings.
