The Reed House at Live Oaks

The Reed House at Live Oaks is a wedding and private event venue on the grounds of Live Oaks Golf Club in Jackson, Mississippi. Mature live oak trees frame the property, giving organisers a scenic setting for ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners and milestone celebrations. The venue also welcomes corporate events and other private gatherings.

The main event spaces include a 10,000 sq ft Event Hall and a 1,500 sq ft Pavilion, complemented by open-air seating areas and a fire pit. A full-day booking provides access to the indoor and outdoor areas from 8am until midnight. Tables and chairs are included, with several styles available to suit different layouts. The site also offers parking for up to 200 cars and outdoor grounds for photographs.

Couples and organisers can choose their own licensed and insured suppliers, including caterers, florists and photographers. Bar and beverage arrangements are handled separately, and event insurance is required. A venue representative remains on site during the event, while the team takes care of set-up and clean-up. A security guard and parking attendant are also included with the rental.

For wedding parties who need a place to get ready, the venue offers a Bridal Cottage as an add-on. The wider Live Oaks property also has group lodging at the Bunk House, which can be useful for wedding guests, retreats and other group stays. Organisers can arrange a tour and enquire about available dates directly with the venue. With flexible indoor and outdoor spaces, included furnishings and freedom to bring in chosen suppliers, The Reed House provides a dedicated location for planning celebrations of different sizes and styles.
