The Red Barn at Sycamore Farm

The Red Barn at Sycamore Farm is a historic Terre Haute venue for weddings and private celebrations. Its restored barn combines original character, including exposed timber, with practical facilities for hosting guests. Organisers can hold an outdoor ceremony on the grounds, then move indoors for a reception in the barn. The property also offers a gazebo as an additional ceremony option.

Wedding arrangements can include access to the barn, tables, chairs, linens and dishware, with venue staff available to help with set-up and clean-up. Couples can use the farmhouse bridal suite to get ready, while the upstairs loft gives the groom and his party a separate place to prepare. A venue coordinator is available with selected wedding packages, and an additional day-of coordination option supports vendor communication and the event schedule.

The venue also welcomes smaller gatherings and private events, including showers, birthday celebrations, graduation parties and rehearsal dinners. Patrick's, an intimate room in the front of the barn, seats up to 40 guests. For larger occasions, organisers can enquire about hiring the full barn, which includes Patrick's. Rental arrangements list tables, chairs and linens, with bar service and basic audiovisual equipment available as optional extras.

With both indoor and outdoor settings, the property can suit a range of event sizes and styles. Organisers can choose a relaxed gathering in the smaller room or use the barn and surrounding grounds for a wedding day or broader celebration. The venue is located on East Poplar Street in Terre Haute, Indiana.
