The Corn Barn

The Corn Barn is a family-run event venue on a working farm near Cullompton in Devon. Its historic barn, central courtyard and rural surroundings provide a distinctive setting for weddings, family celebrations and other gatherings. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, while the adaptable spaces give organisers room to shape an occasion around their own ideas.

Weddings are a central part of the venue's offering. Couples can arrange a ceremony and reception, book a reception on its own, or enquire about selected ceremony-only dates. Civil ceremonies can take place inside the barn, in the courtyard or in the Cider Orchard. The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies and can host celebrations for up to 180 seated guests. The team works with couples as they develop their plans, and helps with practical arrangements on the day, including setting out and moving items.

The barn is also available for birthdays, anniversaries, retirement parties, private dinners, wakes and celebrations of life. Its spaces can be adapted for different event styles, including gatherings with live entertainment or a DJ. Organisers can make their own arrangements for food, including bringing in a caterer, and the venue has a staffed bar. Business gatherings and conferences can also be discussed with the team.

Set in the Devon countryside, the site offers ample parking and convenient access from the M5. Organisers can visit to view the spaces and talk through their plans with the owners, who provide a personal point of contact during preparation and on the event day.
