The 1859

the 1859 is a historic event venue in downtown Loveland, Ohio, offering a distinctive setting for weddings, private celebrations and corporate gatherings. The building dates to 1859 and retains the character of its original chapel, with handmade brickwork, tall glass windows, timber flooring and a traditional bell tower. Its intimate scale makes it suitable for organisers seeking a setting with a strong sense of place rather than a large, conventional function hall.

For weddings, the venue welcomes both smaller gatherings and celebrations with up to 90 seated guests. Couples can explore the space and discuss their plans with the venue team, with wedding coordination and planning assistance available as additional support. The historic interior offers a memorable backdrop for ceremonies and receptions, while the central Loveland location gives guests access to the surrounding downtown area.

The venue also hosts occasions such as rehearsal dinners, bridal and baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries, graduation and retirement parties, holiday celebrations, and other dinners or special events. For business organisers, the space is offered as an offsite meeting and event location. Presentation facilities include a large mounted screen and surround sound, and there is also a private screening room for suitable gatherings.

The 1859's team can discuss event requirements, arrange a tour and advise on planning, coordination and professional rentals. This combination of a historic chapel setting, flexible occasion types and personal assistance makes it a useful option for organisers planning an intimate event in Loveland.
