The GetAway LLC

The GetAway is a private estate in the Brainerd Lakes Area of Minnesota, offered as a place for organisers to host weddings, retreats and group celebrations. Set among woodland and open grounds, the property combines event space with on-site accommodation, making it possible for a group to gather and stay together over several days.

The estate includes a main lodge and guest cottage, with sleeping capacity for groups of up to 24 under the current accommodation listing. The buildings provide shared living and dining areas, kitchens and places to relax between planned activities. Wedding bookings have their own packages and enquiry arrangements. Couples can shape the occasion around the setting, while guests can make use of the estate for a longer wedding stay. The venue also welcomes corporate groups, family reunions, golf outings, milestone celebrations and other organised gatherings. Event fees may apply, and organisers should enquire in advance about requirements and availability.

Outdoor and leisure facilities give groups options for informal activities alongside their programme. These include a private five-hole golf course, walking trails, a ropes and obstacle course, archery facilities, a swimming pool, a hot tub and a sauna. The property is also positioned for groups looking for a secluded base near the wider Brainerd Lakes region.

The GetAway is best suited to organisers seeking a private, accommodation-led venue with outdoor space and activities, rather than a conventional conference centre. Booking and event enquiries are handled through the venue's management contacts. Organisers should confirm current accommodation arrangements, event permissions, facilities and fees directly when planning a gathering.
