The Great Hall Events and Conference Center

The Great Hall Events and Conference Center is a bookable venue on Purdue University Northwest's Westville campus, serving organisers planning weddings, social celebrations and professional gatherings. Its landscaped campus setting, large windows and views across greenery and sculptures create a distinctive backdrop for receptions, dinners and photographs. Couples can also arrange an on-site ceremony, bringing ceremony and celebration together at one location.

The space can accommodate events of up to 300 guests. Organisers can use the Great Hall as one large room or divide it into as many as three sections, allowing the layout to suit different guest numbers and event formats. This flexibility supports occasions ranging from showers, birthdays and anniversaries to funeral luncheons, training sessions, retreats and conferences. The venue also welcomes events for non-profit, education, government, medical, agricultural and association groups.

Catering and bar service options are available, and built-in technology can support presentations and other programme requirements. The venue team invites organisers to share their event details so it can prepare a tailored proposal. The Great Hall is in Westville, near Valparaiso and Michigan City, with access from the toll road and I-94. Its combination of adaptable rooms, event services and a university-campus setting makes it a practical option for both personal celebrations and organised business or community events in northwest Indiana.
