Elings Park

Godric Grove is an outdoor event venue within Elings Park in Santa Barbara, suited to organisers planning weddings, corporate functions and private celebrations. Set high in the park, the venue looks out towards the city and surrounding mountains, with a glimpse of the ocean. Its landscaped grounds and mature trees provide a naturally attractive setting for gatherings in the open air.

The site brings several distinct areas together. A stone amphitheatre offers a setting for ceremonies or presentations, while the broad lawn can be arranged for dining, dancing or informal entertaining. A timber deck beneath the oak trees provides another place for guests to gather. The venue also has a serving area and space for a caterer's canopy, allowing organisers to bring in their chosen catering arrangements. Parking is available close to the site, with options for guest self-parking or valet service.

Godric Grove can host events of up to 200 people, including the wedding party. Elings Park also offers a second outdoor venue, Singleton Pavilion, as well as picnic sites and sports fields for other kinds of gatherings. Rental times depend on the day of the week, and bookings are made through the park office. To confirm availability, requirements and the current status of the venue, event planners should contact Elings Park directly, particularly as the park has announced planned renovation work at Godric Grove.
