The Roof at 1311

The Roof at 1311 is a rooftop venue in historic downtown Vicksburg, set above Key City Brewery and Eatery. Its elevated position offers views of the Mississippi River, downtown rooftops and the city’s church spires, giving receptions and gatherings a distinctive setting. The space is available for private events as well as selected public occasions.

Organisers can consider the venue for business meetings, birthday parties, anniversaries, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, small weddings, class reunions and seasonal celebrations. The room is arranged with long wooden tables and cross-back chairs, alongside high cocktail tables and benches for more informal mingling. A projector and pull-down screen support presentations, while the shared bar and catering area can help with food and drinks. The venue can seat more than 100 guests, with the layout suited to both seated gatherings and standing receptions.

Although open to the air, the rooftop has a retractable roof and roll-down windows, helping organisers plan for changing weather while retaining the outdoor feel and views. Fire pits, umbrellas and casual seating create a separate area for smaller groups. Guests can reach the space by stairs or lift, and toilets are available on site.

Bar service and limited catering may be available through the brewery and eatery, depending on the event. Organisers may also bring in an outside caterer. The venue invites prospective clients to make an enquiry for a tailored event quote, making it suitable for planners seeking a flexible rooftop location for a private celebration or business occasion in central Vicksburg.
