Serra Center

Serra Center is an event venue in Camarillo, California, set within the grounds of Padre Serra Parish. When parish activities do not require the space, the centre is available to outside organisers for wedding receptions, family celebrations and events for businesses, schools, non-profit organisations and government agencies.

Its indoor rooms and outdoor patios can accommodate different event formats, from seated dining to theatre-style gatherings. The venue’s published capacities reach up to 450 guests for dining or 750 in theatre seating, giving organisers options for both social occasions and larger presentations. The setting includes furniture and a dance floor, making it suitable for cocktail receptions, dinners and celebrations with dancing. A stage and audiovisual facilities support talks, presentations, ceremonies and conferences, while on-site parking is available for guests.

The venue can suit organisers planning a fundraiser, conference, promotion ceremony or community gathering as well as a private celebration. Its grounds offer a quieter, retreat-like setting, and the mission-style architecture gives events a distinctive location. Serra Center works with Command Performance Catering, which provides catering and event planning for guests using the venue. Organisers can contact the centre to discuss availability, the room setup and arrangements for their event.

As the space is primarily used for parish programmes, availability for outside bookings depends on the parish calendar. Its range of indoor and outdoor areas, flexible seating capacities and event facilities make it a practical option for planners seeking a Camarillo venue for a reception, dinner or organised gathering.
