Kulturzentrum POM in Remscheid hires out an event space for private celebrations and business events. Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, Christmas parties and corporate events are among the possible formats, as are parties, exhibitions, theatre performances and presentations. Event planners can discuss the arrangements and conditions directly with the team.
The space covers around 210 square metres and has room for up to 200 people. Two stages offer options for live music, performances, speeches or a varied programme. The larger stage has a backstage area and technical connections, as well as basic equipment including spotlights. A bar counter with taps and several cloakroom areas complete the facilities. Air conditioning and ceiling fans help maintain a comfortable temperature.
POM is a cultural centre with a musical focus that has been in operation since 1991. Concerts and other cultural events are held regularly at the venue. This gives the event space its own distinctive atmosphere, making it particularly suitable for celebrations with music and a stage programme. Private events and bespoke formats can also be requested. Available dates, facilities and other organisational details are discussed in person.
The venue is on Hindenburgstraße in Remscheid and is accessible to guests from the city and surrounding area. In addition to the event space, the cultural centre also offers rehearsal rooms. For event planners, however, the main appeal is the opportunity to hold a celebration or event in an established music and cultural venue. Interested parties can contact the POM team directly for information about bookings and specific terms.
