Avelon Ballroom

Avelon Ballroom is a Tacoma venue available to hire for weddings, private celebrations and other organised events. Set in a historic building on 6th Avenue, the ballroom offers around 5,000 square feet of space, with original hardwood floors, exposed beams and chandeliers that give the room a distinctive character. Organisers can arrange the layout to suit their event, whether they are planning a ceremony and reception, a party, a rehearsal dinner or a gathering with colleagues and guests.

The venue provides tables and chairs for up to 100 seated guests, and can accommodate up to 200 people for a standing event. A catering preparation area gives organisers the option to bring in their preferred caterer or arrange self-catering. Two private suites are included for weddings, and the venue also offers on-site parking outside other tenants' business hours, with additional street parking nearby.

Bookings are available for different durations, with a minimum hire period. Wedding packages include options for event-day access and, in one package, time for a rehearsal the evening before. Organisers can also enquire about weekday rates and additional hours. A selection of optional party items is available to hire, including a portable bar, cocktail tables, linens, stanchions and lighting. The venue has a book-a-tour option for people who want to view the space and discuss their plans before choosing a date. Food and drink arrangements remain flexible, subject to the venue's permit and staffing requirements.
