Hillsborough Racquet Club

Hillsborough Racquet Club offers a distinctive setting for weddings and private celebrations in Hillsborough, California. The historic club welcomes ceremonies, receptions, anniversaries, milestone birthdays and other special gatherings, with space for events of up to 165 guests. Organisers can reserve the venue for a ceremony, a reception or a combined ceremony and reception, with exclusive use during the booked event period.

The property has several different spaces to shape the occasion. Couples can hold an outdoor ceremony beneath the columned portico or choose the music room for a smaller gathering. The ballroom provides a light-filled space for dining and celebrations, while a patio offers guests an outdoor place to pause. A separate, comfortably furnished room gives the venue another setting for conversation or a quieter break.

The hire includes tables and Chiavari chairs, a grand piano, Wi-Fi and access to a warming and staging kitchen with fridge and freezer facilities. A venue manager is on duty during the event, and parking is available on site and on the surrounding streets. Organisers may bring their own alcohol, provided service is handled by a licensed bartender. The club accepts only one event per weekend, offering a private-use arrangement for each booking.

The venue provides a virtual tour and layout information to help planners consider the rooms and prepare a floor plan. Its historic character, mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, and event-specific facilities make it a considered option for couples and organisers planning a celebration in the San Francisco Bay Area. Enquiries and tour requests can be made directly to the rental manager.
