Folkk is a distinctive event venue in the centre of Lemmer, based in a former little church dating from 1870. Its authentic walls, high ceilings and natural light give the space its own character. Organisers can hire the venue for gatherings of 5 to 80 people, with one group at a time taking centre stage.

The venue is suitable for a wide range of business programmes, including meetings, brainstorming sessions, workshops, team days, presentations and exhibitions. Folkk also offers options for multi-day gatherings or a day programme with several different activities. The team is happy to help shape the programme and atmosphere, so that the space suits the purpose of the gathering. Teams can also combine a meeting with an activity, such as a boat trip in Friesland.

Folkk also offers a fitting setting for personal occasions. Couples can hold their wedding ceremony at the venue in a characterful setting. The space is decorated festively to suit their wishes, with styling by Blooming. Folkk is also available for gatherings to mark a farewell.

The combination of a striking historic building, flexible use and personal attention makes the venue a good choice for organisers looking for a gathering with its own distinctive feel. Folkk is centrally located in Lemmer, a short walk from the beach. This makes it a distinctive setting for business meetings and special occasions in Friesland.
