Savannah Market

Savannah Market is a city-run outdoor event venue in downtown Savannah, Tennessee, across from the Hardin County Courthouse. Its large pavilion is available to reserve for events, offering organisers a covered space in a central location, with public restrooms on site. The setting is also home to the Savannah Farmers Market and is used for music and cultural gatherings, giving it a local, community-focused character.

Organisers can request use of the pavilion through Savannah Main Street. Requests must be made during office hours and at least two days before the planned date. The City reviews each proposed event before confirming a reservation, so it is sensible to enquire early about availability, fees and any event-specific arrangements. A refundable reservation and clean-up deposit applies, and organisers are responsible for leaving the site tidy and avoiding damage to the pavilion and surrounding surfaces.

The venue can suit organisers looking for an outdoor setting for a local celebration, gathering or programme of activities. The pavilion has electrical receptacles, with advance notice needed if an event requires access to additional outlets. Special conditions apply, including requirements for event insurance and restrictions on alcohol unless the appropriate state permit is obtained. As the site also hosts scheduled market activity and public events, checking the calendar before making plans is important. Savannah Market offers a practical option for organisers seeking a bookable public pavilion in the heart of town, rather than a private indoor function room or a full-service event package.
