The Event Suite at Sweet Confections

The Event Suite at Sweet Confections is a small private-hire venue in the Colonial Park area of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Designed for intimate gatherings, it can host up to 50 guests, with options to add further places for some bookings. The space is offered for weddings and receptions, birthdays, baby and bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, family gatherings, graduations, corporate meetings and other celebrations.

Organisers can choose venue-only hire, taking responsibility for their own setup and clear-up, or select a package that includes more of the preparation. Depending on the package, the venue can provide tables and chairs, linens, table settings, centrepieces, backdrops, balloon decor, uplighting and a Bluetooth speaker. Setup and cleanup are included in some packages. The venue also offers a bridal suite and, for weddings, ceremony and reception arrangements, with an outdoor tent available subject to weather and package details.

Food and drink arrangements vary by booking. Some packages allow organisers to bring their own food and drinks or choose an outside caterer. The venue is associated with the Sweet Confections Cakes bakery, and its booking information states that cakes and desserts for venue events must be sourced from that bakery. Optional extras include additional hours or guests, chair upgrades, a tent and a dance floor.

The venue has restrooms, step-free accessibility information and private off-street parking, with additional on-street parking nearby. Its intimate scale and range of hire options make it suited to event planners arranging smaller celebrations who want either a hands-on venue rental or support with the room's decor and preparation.
