The Perry House

The Perry House is a historic event venue in downtown Monterey, California, set in a Victorian home dating to 1860. Surrounded by gardens and offering views across Monterey Bay and the city, the property provides an atmospheric setting for weddings, corporate functions, family milestones and social celebrations. Its heritage architecture and several distinct indoor and outdoor areas give organisers options for bringing guests together for ceremonies, receptions, dinners and parties.

The venue includes the main house, the Carriage House and landscaped outdoor spaces. Guests can move between rooms, relax in the garden courtyard or enjoy the views from the Harbor View Lounge and deck. A fire pit and wood-fired pizza oven add further character to the grounds. The layout can be adapted for different styles of gathering, from a wedding ceremony and reception to a business dinner, client event, holiday party or company celebration.

Event packages include food and beverage service, with catering and bar options provided by the venue team. Wedding packages can also include tables, chairs, linens, dinnerware and glassware, along with event coordination and service staff. Organisers may select additional suppliers such as florists, photographers and entertainment providers, while the venue team can liaise with them during planning. Corporate options include receptions, galas, board meetings, exhibitions and team retreats.

The Perry House is conveniently located near downtown hotels, restaurants and the Monterey Convention Center, making it practical for local and visiting guests. Venue tours and visits are arranged by appointment. Event planners can contact the team to discuss availability, guest numbers, event requirements and a tailored proposal.
