The Venue Barnstaple

The Venue Barnstaple is a bookable event space in Pottington, offering organisers a flexible setting for gatherings and live performances. Run by Barnstaple Musical Comedy & Dramatic Society, it is also the society's home for rehearsals and productions. The venue has a bar and raised seating, making it suitable for occasions where guests want to watch a performance or share a social event in one space.

Organisers can submit a booking request and discuss availability and any requirements with the venue team. Hire is charged by the hour, with a separate fee for the event licence and administration when a bar is required. Additional costs, such as cleaning, specialist technical support or a specialist bar service, are discussed during consultation, so organisers can clarify what their event needs before confirming arrangements. External suppliers may be used, subject to their own terms.

Located at Unit 2 of Riverside Commercial Centre, The Venue is in the Pottington area of Barnstaple. There is limited parking directly outside, with further parking on nearby roads. The space is described as having disabled access, though organisers should contact the venue to discuss specific accessibility requirements. Whether planning a performance, a party or another gathering, event planners can enquire directly about the space, availability and practical details for their booking.
