Klosterbergfabrik

Friedrichstraße 5a, 78112 St. Georgen im Schwarzwald, Germany

Klosterbergfabrik is a historic venue for events and culture in St. Georgen in the Black Forest. Built on a terraced slope from 1888 onwards, the factory building spans seven floors. Today, the building combines its industrial character with spaces for community, creative and cultural activities.

The multifunctional rooms available to hire for meetings and retreats are of particular interest to event planners. Longer-term rentals are also available. This makes the venue suitable for a range of formats that call for a bespoke layout and an unusual setting. On the basement level, there is a gallery for exhibitions and a café with a stage for events. The building also has a media studio and other facilities, including a Wellbeing Studio.

The factory's hillside location below the former Benedictine monastery gives it a distinctive atmosphere. Visible traces of its former industrial use and the building's characterful layout make it a fitting backdrop for workshops, gatherings, cultural events and creative formats. You can speak directly with the venue operator to find out which rooms are available and what facilities would suit your event.

Klosterbergfabrik is therefore a flexible venue for organisers looking for spaces for business meetings or cultural events and who value a place steeped in history. Alongside one-off events, the venue also supports longer-term use of selected spaces.
