Wayne G. Sanborn Activity Center

Wayne G. Sanborn Activity Center is a bookable venue in Earl Brown Park, DeLand, offering adaptable indoor spaces for social celebrations and business events. Organisers can choose from a Grand Ballroom, two smaller ballroom sections and three meeting rooms. The ballroom can be divided to suit different event sizes, while the meeting rooms can be arranged as separate spaces for smaller gatherings, workshops or sessions alongside a larger programme.

The venue is suited to weddings, ceremonies, receptions, banquets, parties, business meetings and retreats. Its rooms accommodate a range of layouts, from meeting-style gatherings to larger theatre-seated events. A glass-enclosed atrium provides a distinctive indoor setting, and outdoor ceremony options include courtyard and terrace areas. The ballroom features a raised stage, dance floor and backstage changing rooms, making it suitable for presentations, performances and celebrations with dancing.

Available facilities include Wi-Fi, audio-visual equipment, tables and chairs, with venue staff able to arrange the room setup from a submitted floor plan. A catering kitchen is available for approved caterers, and the venue provides a list of selected catering businesses for organisers to contact. Catering, food and beverage arrangements are subject to the centre's requirements, so planners should confirm details when booking.

Spaces can be reserved by the hour or in set blocks, with options varying by day and room. The venue also offers rental of the amphitheatre in adjacent Earl Brown Park for ceremonies, concerts, festivals and other outdoor gatherings. Organisers can contact the centre to discuss availability, view the facility and select a layout that fits their event.
