Rushwood Barn

Rushwood Barn is a historic barn venue in Rush, New York, offering a private setting for weddings and other gatherings. The timber-framed barn dates from 1907 and sits on ten acres of grounds. Couples can use the barn for their reception, dinner and dancing, with room for up to 170 guests seated for dinner. For larger gatherings, the venue can discuss layouts that make use of the deck and outdoor grounds.

Ceremonies can take place at the hilltop gazebo, on the deck or in the meadow, with the barn available as an indoor alternative if the weather changes. The property also has a five-bedroom guest house beside the barn, with a full kitchen, shared living space, wraparound porch and a spa room with a hot tub and sauna. Saturday wedding bookings can include the guest house for the wedding party and exclusive use of the barn and grounds across the weekend. Sunday wedding arrangements are also available.

The venue provides tables, chairs, string lights and draping for weddings, as well as in-house bar service. Couples can choose their own licensed caterer and arrange photography, music, flowers and any additional rentals separately. Optional support can include day-of venue coordination, ceremony takedown, parking assistance and end-of-night clean-up.

Outside the main wedding season, Rushwood Barn also welcomes corporate retreats and offsites, showers, milestone birthdays, anniversary dinners and other private celebrations. The barn, guest house and grounds offer organisers a choice of spaces for group activities, meals and overnight stays. Visits are arranged by appointment, giving event planners an opportunity to explore the property and discuss how its spaces and services might suit their plans.
