Bobby Bell Pavilion

Bobby Bell Pavilion is a city-operated event venue in Uptown Shelby, North Carolina, available for organisers to rent for gatherings and events. Its central location makes it a practical option for community occasions, local celebrations, public activities and other events that benefit from a space in the heart of town. The venue is also home to the Foothills Farmers' Market, giving the pavilion an established role in Shelby's community life.

Organisers can check availability and make a rental enquiry through Shelby Parks and Recreation's online facility system. The pavilion is listed as a general facility, with rental hours shown on the booking page. Saturdays have a specific restriction: the venue can be rented from 2pm onwards, after the Farmers' Market has finished. This is worth factoring into plans for weekend events and set-up times.

The pavilion's location at 126 W Marion Street puts it within Uptown Shelby, making it a useful choice for organisers seeking a town-centre setting. It can be considered for occasions such as community gatherings, celebrations, meet-ups and local programmes, subject to the city's booking terms and availability. The City of Shelby's Parks and Recreation department manages the facility, so organisers can use its rental system to review the listing and enquire about dates. As capacity and specific facilities are not stated on the booking page, planners should confirm that the venue meets their event requirements before booking.
