Colonial Theatre Laconia

The Colonial Theatre Laconia is a historic performing arts venue available to hire for events in downtown Laconia, New Hampshire. Restored from its 1914 origins, the theatre pairs period character and an ornate auditorium with modern production capabilities. Its 761-seat capacity makes it suitable for organisers seeking a sizeable, fixed-seat setting for performances and gatherings.

The venue welcomes a range of event formats, including concerts, theatre productions, dance performances, comedy shows, galas and speaker events. Its stage and auditorium are particularly well suited to programmes where the audience faces a performance area, from touring entertainment to community and organisational events. The theatre's location in the Lakes Region also makes it a distinctive choice for organisers bringing guests together in central New Hampshire.

Organisers can enquire about hiring the theatre through its rentals team, sharing details such as the type and date of their event. The venue's restored historic setting can lend a sense of occasion to an event, while its contemporary production facilities support live performances and presentations. Whether planning a show, a gala or a speaking engagement, event planners can contact the venue to discuss availability and rental arrangements. The Colonial Theatre is managed by Spectacle Live and also hosts a programme of public performances, giving visitors and organisers a well-established destination for live entertainment.
