Sugar Spring South LLC

Sugar Spring South is a farm-inspired barn venue in Waterloo, Illinois, designed for weddings and other private celebrations. Its red barn combines a country setting with a warm, polished interior, including a cocktail area, a large fireplace and room for guests to dine and dance. The venue can accommodate up to 225 guests for weddings and receptions.

Couples can arrange a ceremony at the barn, followed by a reception, or book a ceremony-only option. Venue hire includes tables, chairs and linen, with a selection of décor available for the team to set up and clear away. A day-of coordinator is included to help with event details, while custom floor plans, on-site parking, accessible facilities and a dance floor support the practical arrangements. There is also an integrated sound and lighting set-up, with connections for a DJ or band, and a built-in photo booth area.

The venue also welcomes private events such as rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, anniversaries, showers, family reunions, holiday gatherings and corporate events or meetings. Private-event packages offer use of the space, staff support, set-up furniture and décor, with capacities depending on the booking and room arrangement.

Food and beverage packages are available, with buffet menus, bar options and a licensed bartender. Organisers can discuss menu choices and preferred catering options when planning their event. Tours are available by appointment, giving couples and organisers the opportunity to view the barn and talk through the available arrangements.
