Venue 808

Venue 808 is an event venue in San Diego's East Village, housed in a former produce warehouse dating from 1933. Its industrial character, open-beamed ceilings and large windows are complemented by indoor olive trees and a collection of distinct spaces, giving event planners several settings to work with under one roof.

The venue hosts weddings, from intimate family gatherings to large celebrations, as well as other private and corporate events. Its spaces include a broad main hall, a farmhouse-style chapel, a sunken lounge, a speakeasy and furnished suites. These areas can help planners shape different parts of an event, from a ceremony or welcome reception to dining and an evening celebration. The building offers more than 18,000 square feet of indoor event space, with layouts suited to both seated and standing occasions.

Venue 808 provides event inventory such as tables and chairs, along with features including a bar, preparation kitchen and breakout rooms. Food and beverage service is offered through its exclusive catering partner, while the venue also shares recommendations for other event suppliers, including florists, photographers, DJs, rental firms and planners. Organisers can arrange a venue visit and discuss their event requirements with the team.

With its historic warehouse setting and varied interior spaces, Venue 808 gives event planners a flexible San Diego location for bringing guests together. The combination of ceremony, dining, lounge and suite areas can support a range of event formats without moving between venues, while the distinctive architectural details provide a memorable backdrop for weddings and other celebrations.
