Het Molenhuis – a unique wedding venue in Friesland
Get married by the water, next to a historic sawmill, and stay overnight with your guests? Het Molenhuis in Woudsend is a characterful wedding venue in Friesland where you can celebrate your entire wedding in one place.
The venue comprises a listed Molenhuis, a spacious green courtyard, a modern pavilion and a stretch tent. This offers plenty of options for a ceremony, drinks reception, dinner and party, both indoors and outdoors.
What makes Het Molenhuis extra special is its location in the heart of Friesland’s watersports area. For example, take a cruise on the classic saloon boat, arrive by water or enjoy drinks with your guests on the quayside.
After the party, nobody needs to go home. With 25 bedrooms and 124 beds, a large part of your party can stay overnight at the venue. That way, your wedding becomes not just a single day, but a whole wedding weekend.
