For business meetings, facilities include a projector, screen and free Wi-Fi. The space is suitable for groups of up to 200 people. Catering is available, with options that can be tailored to the event. This makes it possible to combine a work programme with a meal or an informal end to the day.

De Huiskamer also offers a range of options for company outings. These include cooking together, drinks, a creative workshop or a festive evening with music and dancing. The venue has a commercial kitchen and a sound system, allowing organisers to shape their programme as they wish. The space can also be hired for birthdays, wedding celebrations and other private parties. There is a child-friendly play area for groups with children.

De Huiskamer is on the Suikerterrein, just outside the centre of Groningen. The combination of a spacious room, practical facilities and a range of hire options makes the venue suitable for both business and private gatherings.
