Appalachian Wireless Arena

Appalachian Wireless Arena is a multi-purpose venue in downtown Pikeville, Kentucky, serving organisers of conferences, conventions, exhibitions, celebrations and large-scale live events. Its main arena has a floor of approximately 24,000 square feet and can accommodate up to 7,000 people for concerts. The space can also be configured for sporting events, shows, graduations and other large gatherings.

For meetings and smaller functions, the second-floor ballroom offers around 5,000 square feet of space. Movable walls allow it to be divided into as many as three rooms, and additional breakout rooms are available. Depending on the layout, the ballroom can seat groups from around 10 to 300. Organisers can enquire about sound equipment, wired and wireless microphones, internet access, tables, chairs and linens.

The arena's team assists with event planning and provides in-house food and beverage services. Menu options range from light refreshments to more substantial meals, and catering is also available for events held off site. Organisers can discuss room layouts, catering, technical requirements and booking arrangements with the venue's staff.

With both a large arena floor and adaptable meeting and ballroom facilities, the venue can suit a range of event sizes and formats. It is located at 126 Main Street in Pikeville, with parking available in the surrounding city and nearby garage. Organisers can contact the booking team to ask about availability, discuss their plans or arrange a visit to the event spaces.
