Camp Aldrich

Camp Aldrich offers event organisers a countryside venue set among rolling hills and natural surroundings near Claflin, Kansas. Its facilities suit a range of gatherings, from wedding receptions and family reunions to business retreats, conferences and group events.

The main Dining and Events Center is available throughout the year. Its upper level can be arranged for banquet seating for up to 300 guests, while a separate basement meeting room accommodates up to 150. Organisers can request Wi-Fi, a microphone and audiovisual equipment for presentations or programmes. The building also has heating and air conditioning, an industrial kitchen and a covered patio with barbecue grills. Catering can be arranged through the college's food service, or organisers may choose to prepare meals themselves or make other catering arrangements.

For events that run over several days, Camp Aldrich has lodges with a range of sleeping capacities. Martin Lodge sleeps four, Sundowner Lodge sleeps 16 during its seasonal opening period, and Trail's End Lodge has four separate pods, each sleeping up to 48. Indoor toilets and shower facilities are available in the lodges, with kitchen facilities in Martin Lodge. Guests should bring their own bedding.

The wider site also offers outdoor recreation facilities, including a swimming pool during the summer season, sports equipment and a playground. The combination of indoor function rooms, accommodation and open grounds gives planners options for events with both organised programmes and overnight stays. Camp Aldrich is operated by Barton Community College, and prospective organisers can contact its facility team to discuss availability, event arrangements and current rates.
